The position is the leading coach of the entire program, competing in the APS Sports.A rare opportunity has become available to lead the St Kevin's Football Program as the First XVIII Coach. The successful applicant will design and oversee the coaching program for the First XVIII Football Team. A key area of the role will be to identify and develop performance squad of all footballers from all year levels, enabling a steady stream of future Senior Footballers.Key Areas of ResponsibilityDevelopment: Mentor senior coaches and create a culture of success in the St Kevin’s Football programCoaching: Attend all 1st and 2nd XVIII training sessions, including pre-season and holiday trainingManaging: Manage a team of coaches within the 1st/2nd XVIII squadSt Kevin's College CandidateYou have a passion for the game and preferably have experience in coaching Representative or Underage Teams. With a Level 2 AFL Coaching Accreditation or equivalent, you have the ability to work and lead a team of coaches. Your up to date knowledge of modern trends in football coaching, methodology, including use of technology will drive the success of these teams. In addition you will have:Excellent communication, organization and time management skillsHold a current WWCC and First Aid certificateCompleted or willing to complete Anaphylaxis Awareness trainingTime CommitmentIt is anticipated that this role will be approximately 350 hours for the season.Term 4: Two sessions per week (4 weeks training)Term 1: Two morning sessions per week (7:00am-8:15am)Term 2 & 3: Two afternoons per week (3:15pm-5:30pm) & Saturday (11:30am-5:30pm)Term 2 & 3 Holidays: Ability to attend all training, camp days/matches as requiredIn continuing to build our community we seek likeminded individuals with an optimistic outlook, a high level of personal drive and integrity.Applications close: 4.00pm Friday 28 October 2022.
